We are always pleased to accept unsolicited manuscripts from new and established writers, for novels and collections of short stories.

We have an clear acceptance policy as outlined below.

Whilst we especially enjoy tales connected with our country and heritage, we are more than happy to consider all applications, excluding horror, “adult” or poetry.

We only accept submissions via our submissions page or email: submissions@taleofthecat.com

Please include your name and the title of your work along, with a concise blurb/summary.

It will take time for us to get back to you, anything up to eight weeks.

Rejection

The world of publishing is full of stories about books rejected by publishers that go on to be best sellers. At Tale of The Cat, we do not view ourselves as final arbiters on all things literary. We can only speak for ourselves and work with what fits at a particular moment, and we wish everyone who submits to us, the best of luck. Personally.
